A Quick Update...

...exactly to whom, I do not know, but in any case...

I have learned the left hand notes for the piano! *applause*
and...you won't believe it...am practicing a NEW song!! *cheering AND applause*

I could have learned the left hand much earlier, had someone (Cough, cough) just told me when I asked what the simple way of learning it was!
2 steps down! 2 steps down! Is that hard to say!?

I actually had to FIGURE it out by myself!
Ahh, the self-sacrifice to play a simple tune.

so...

I have started playing piano again...and I'm getting kinda better. The bad thing is that I am too lazy to try to learn the left hand notes...I just know the cords. This impairs my already limited ability to play things. So I am able to play most of Canon in D and "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" (yea, from Lion King). The problem, therefore, is that I drive everyone crazy playing these 2-(ish) songs. This did come in handy, though, the other day when my brother was upsetting me as he was talking about stuff in his Yeshiva in Israel, that he's leaving me for. I threatened him with this,
"You know, Josh, when you get back, I'll still be playing the middle part of Canon in D over and over again."
To this, my mother responded,
"Josh, please teach her a new song..."
--which just happened to be the same thing she said last year when the only thing I knew how to play was the 5 cords of "Let It Be" and practiced it all the time--
